Legends by AJP was born from the success of our parent company, KCBD's Best of the West 3 years running, Alicia Junod Photography. AJP focuses more on families, milestones, and traditional senior portraits. Where Legends focus will be a bit more niche and focused on capturing your Legend doing what they do best.
AJP was established by Alicia in 2011. During that time Alicia photographed several facets of life, including wedding photos. Weddings require 2 photographers, and Alicia brought her husband, Austin, in to start working with her. Austin brought an out of the box perspective to his second shooting duties, and in turn started to really delve into the craft of photography.
His love and appreciation for sports is what really kick started the idea to add Legends to the AJP brand. He has been trained by the best in the industry for this style of photography, and is excited to bring something new to the Lubbock area!

Austin was raised in Plainview, Texas, and moved to Lubbock shortly after high school, where he’s called home ever since. He’s a devoted husband and father, and his love for his family is the center of his life. Austin finds great joy in coaching his kids through their sporting activities, seeing firsthand the hard work, dedication, and teamwork it takes to succeed. Outside of coaching, Austin has developed a passion for photography, with a goal to capture the passion, determination, and drive it takes to become an athlete and play at a high level. Whether it’s on the field or in the stands, he wants to preserve those moments of grit and glory for others to experience.
